Progress of the ECARUCA database

ECARUCA is currently working together with Cartagenia Bench Lab (Agilent Technologies) to improve and expand the main features of the ECARUCA database ‘powered by Cartagenia BENCH’. The technical infrastructure will soon be realized by Cartagenia BENCH, thereby ensuring the future for ECARUCA in the coming years. The ECARUCA team in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, is in the final phase of testing this new version of ECARUCA powered by Bench, which is expected to be launched in the summer of 2017.

As soon as this is realized, we are planning to submit an additional set of more than 3,000 cases with genetic and clinical information collected by the team of Professor Albert Schinzel in Zurich to the ECARUCA database, thereby reaching a total of 8,000 cases.
